Work is the only place I can visit JWD---at home, my kids are always on the computer. And if I do manage to get on, they're hovering over my shoulder wondering when I'll be done...sheesh!!!

just wondering if any one else but my self uses jwd during work hours.. my dial up at home is slower than a snail slithering through molasses.
at times i want to tell my clients to sit down and wait while i post something on jwd, but i can't.
hopefully i'm not being monitored !!

All the best to you both tomorrow....have a wonderful day and may all of your dreams come true!!!

this mornings events have got me thinking about things.
i love peanut butter, not the sweet kind but i like the old fashioned peanut butter, usually laura scudder's with no sugar or preservatives - it just tastes better imo.
i put it on everything including pancakes which are really good with peanut butter and maple syrup.
::Bull testicles, commonly called mountain oysters or calf frys. Not bad if you can get past the thought of where they came from. I often worried if they were properly bled since the calf wasn't killed in the process.I'm pretty sure I've seen these eaten on FEAR FACTOR!!! Yikes....

hello in there ;-p. wow wow wow.... i never knew such a place existed.... unfortunatly i don't have a lot of time to type right now & believe me i'd need days, perhaps even weeks & i'd probably still feel like i wasn't done.... in short... my name is jodie, i'm from australia, i'm about to turn 32 & i am a jehovah's witness outkast... i wasn't kicked out, i left of my own accord when my parents divorced & i was about 14... my father, my younger brother & me - the 3 black sheep !!
my father was disfellowshipped, he was an elder who also happened to have bi polar... the day ( or technically night ) my father was disfellowshipped was the saddest time of my life - it was more like a death or a funeral, something tragic... when my parents divorced i went to live with dad, i was always closer to my father plus when he left he had nothing... he lived on the river bank in the middle of winter for 6 weeks in a tent ( while his good christian jehovah's witness father & sister slept warm in their beds in the same town... ) dad bought a little caravan & he & i lived in it, eventually he bought some land & built a house & my younger brother joined us.... anyway to cut it all short... i've suffered badly from depression - so badly it's almost killed me & my brother also... the crux of our depression is our mother, our sister's, our grandfather, our aunt's & all of our relatives are jehovah's witnesses - most of them live in the same town as us altho they may as well live on the other side of the world.... you know, sitting here thinking about it all - it all makes perfect sense... how can families be torn apart like this, how do they not realise it is wrong & sad & wicked ??.
i've spent more than half my life trying to have any sort of relationship with the rest of my family.... anyway i have to get going.... hasta la vista .
Welcome....you're certainly not an OUTKAST here!

i have always been interested in what last names mean and where they come from and if someone famous in the past is related to us because of the same last name.
my last name comes from greek but my family is not greek.
it dates back to the year 700ce and it was around the time in europe when people were starting to get last names - i'm talking about the general people not monarchs.
Is someone actually up at this ungodly hour?
ive been "in the truth" ever since i was 6 years old when my mother was baptised in the late 70`s.
so i sort of got dragged along to the meetings and therin started the indoctrination that was to prove to be my undoing.
ive been reading this page for a while now and read some very slick posts from dissillusioned ex members.
Welcome to the forum Salmon!!!

he's 7 weeks old, he's a chocolate lab and i named him tony.
his eye isn't messed up it just looks that way because i was trying to get his face to look forward while i pushed the button all at once.
he kept me up all night last night crying, but hopefully just like with my beagle he will outgrow that.
Awwww, he's absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!
Enjoy him....LIG
just thought i would pop in here to tell you all that i am 3 months pregnant!
it was quite a shock.
my husband and i have been married for 5 years.
Congratulations!!!!!
I had two children aged 12 and 8 from my first marriage when I had my 3rd little one at the age of 35 with my current husband(his first and only child). As a few other people mentioned, it was amazing how much calmer and more patient I have been the past six years raising this one. Of course, it also helps having a wonderful and supportive husband sharing the load, which I certainly did NOT have with the first two.
And yes, the older kids have been so great helping out-it's almost at times like the six year old has more parents than he can handle. All in all, it's been a wonderful ride-it certainly DOES help to keep you feeling young and I wouldn't have traded it for anything!!
Enjoy every minute of it-it goes by soooo fast....
